How a BFSI team cut sales ramp-up time from 6 months to 10 weeks
Sales Training + Coaching | Financial services
- 10 weeks
- Time to first productive quarter (from 6 months)
- +34%
- Increase in qualified meetings per rep
- -40%
- Drop in first-year attrition
The challenge
New sales hires took 5-6 months to reach quota, and 3 in 10 left before they got there.
What we did
A 10-week structured onboarding curriculum, a product-mapped discovery framework, weekly live call reviews and a manager coaching cadence.
New hires were handed a product deck and a target. There was no shared selling language, no call structure and no way for managers to see where a deal actually stood.\n\nWe rebuilt onboarding into a 10-week runway: week-by-week skill milestones, live call reviews, a discovery framework mapped to their products, and a manager coaching rhythm that reviewed real pipeline instead of activity counts.
“Our new joiners now sound like our best sellers within a quarter, not a year.”
